TRASHBOT
Trashbot is a DIY STEM robot kit that teaches coding and robotics through hands-on making. The original brand lacked cohesion and failed to express that mission. Research revealed a gap between users (kids) and buyers (parents and educators), highlighting the need for a dual-appeal identity. The rebrand introduces a visual system that is imaginative for children yet clear and trustworthy for adults, restoring alignment, coherence, and purpose to the brand.

FICTIONAL EVENT DESIGN
The rebrand extends Trashbot’s audience to tech-minded adults interested in STEM and creative technology. To visualize this, I created a fictional large-scale STEM conference and designed the stage screens and presentation graphics to demonstrate how the new identity scales into a broader, tech-driven ecosystem.
PACKAGING DESIGN
The Trashbot packaging is designed so the experience begins the moment the box opens. A short message introduces Trashbot’s philosophy inside the lid, and the components reveal themselves gradually, creating a small sense of discovery. From the first unboxing moment, the design reflects Trashbot’s creative and educational values.

DIGITAL EXPERIENCE DESIGN
The Trashbot website is designed to create a seamless transition from product discovery to purchase. The homepage highlights key features and the educational value of Trashbot, while individual product pages clearly outline components, usage, and learning outcomes.
PRINT DESIGN
To create a consistent brand presence, the core print materials, business letter, card, and envelope, were designed to reflect Trashbot’s educational and tech-driven character.
A compact brand book accompanies these pieces, outlining the brand’s values, tone of voice, color system, and logo rules to keep future applications clear and aligned.

SPATIAL DESIGN
The environmental design brings Trashbot’s identity into the physical space. A welcoming front desk, playful wayfinding, and a bold mural work together to express the brand’s creative and innovative STEM personality, creating a cohesive and memorable visitor experience.
